Students will learn that a verb is an action word (a word for what something DOES), act out animal’s actions, and pick verbs to represent those animal actions. Before this lesson, ideally students should have completed Lesson 1 of this unit. However, if they haven’t, no worries. This recaps the info on nouns covered in Lesson 1. STANDARDS: L.K.1, K.L.1.b
