The first cartoons told stories using only pictures. They had no words at all. Think of a story that you can tell using only pictures. It can be a story you’ve heard—like "Cinderella" or "The Three Little Pigs." Or it can be your own story. What pictures could you use to tell the story? Draw your pictures in a cartoon strip, where each picture is in a box. Show it to a friend. Can they tell your story from the pictures you drew?
