Bonus Activity: Most paper is made of mashed wood. Wood has tough fibers that make strong paper. What else could you mash to make paper? Could you mash tomatoes and make tomato paper? What about banana peels? Draw or describe two things that you could try to make into paper. Then draw or describe what makes your new paper better than wood paper. What makes it worse than paper made from wood?
