Time to Share

Midway through the lesson, we provide an opportunity for students to share their writing. We listed a few of our favorite sharing strategies on the slide:

• Turn and Talk
• Stand Up, Hand Up
• Gallery Walk

Feel free to use one of these ways to share or choose another method you like.

For Students Who Need Extra Help

If students need help coming up with ideas for their Idea Clouds, or struggle to write sentences, we have provided an Inspiration Sheet. Have a few of these on hand for students who need more support.
